RIGHT THROUGH THE MIDDLE !!!!

The proposed 'relief' road will carve right through the middle of this view - bringing with it a Gypsy and Traveller site and housing - effectively increasing Abergele by at least 25%.

Don't let this happen. Have your say, support us on the Protest Walk at 2pm on 31st May from Threeways Roundabout following the any footpaths that will disappear as a result of these plans.

  1. What a lovely photograph of a lovely view - absolutely agree with you!! Can't make the protest walk but is the meeting at the Kinmel Manor confirmed for Friday 5th June?

  2. I agree a very lovely veiw. Another area at risk is Tan Y Gopa Lane, it seems the council want to de-value our homes there, by wanting to take the proposed boundary lane in to our gardens.. Why I ask myself, is this a ploy for when the bypass is built, to take traffic away from the lights, push it up Tan Y Gopa Lane? Making that a new road out of Abergele town?

  3. Any traffic that wants to reach Llanfair TH or beyond, and wishes to bypass Abergele, can easily pull off the A55 at St Asaph and there is a straight route to Pen Refyl - not only a straight road, but also a quiet one (we do not need a relief road - not at the cost of such beauty!)

  4. What are the Councils and the Government of this country actually doing to encourage home-working. There are no losers, family life is less stressful the local shops are more likely to be supported as people have time to walk there, the environment gains and more importantly it takes cars off the road. The answer is staring us in the face don't decimate our countryside continually building new roads, let people stay at home, the technology is there we should get on with it now. There are thousands upon thousands of office jobs that could be done at least part of the week from home.
